About
Graves Farms
After helping get a man on the moon, Robert Max Graves of Blount County decided to leave The Boeing Company to focus on raising his children and teaching them how to provide for a family.
He started farming and sold his produce at the Jefferson County Truck Grower’s Association Farmer’s Market in Birmingham, Alabama. He expanded quickly and began buying and reselling produce as well.
His three sons, Robert “Bobby”, Tim “Bud”, and Jeff were raised at the Farmer’s Market and in the fields. Together they worked to build a wholesale business, selling produce and tropical plants.
